Beacon Group is looking for an experienced Employment Specialist. This is an opportunity for an Employment Specialist to use their experience to deliver a mission much bigger than financial results. The responsibilities of the Employment Specialistare to develop, implement, monitor and maintain career opportunities for clients including job skills training, career development/placement career retention and advancement services. Prior experience with Behavioral Health Preferred.
ESSENTIAL ABILITIES Ability to operate a motor vehicle Ability to communicate and follow directions effectively Ability to work effectively independently and in a team-orientated environment Ability to obtain and maintain a fingerprint clearance Proficient with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel. Exceptional organizational skills a must.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree and at least one year of full-time professional and/or volunteer experience in a social work setting and working with persons with disabilities; OR Associate's Degree and two years full-time professional and/or volunteer experience in a social work setting and at least one year working with persons with disabilities; OR High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma and 18 credit hours of post-high school education in a field related to social work and two years of full-time professional and/or volunteer experience in a social work setting and at least one year working with persons with disabilities; OR High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma and four years of full-time professional and/or volunteer experience in a social work setting and at least one year working with persons with disabilities
