    Job Title: Field Install Specialist

    Job Summary:
    The Field Install Specialist will assist Project Managers and Senior Field Trainer/Supervisors by executing project plans, ensuring successful installations that exceed client expectations. Specialists will travel to various project sites, working either solo or as part of a team. They are responsible for maintaining professionalism and excellence on every job, adhering to company and client guidelines, and accurately completing reports, time logs, and records.

    Major Responsibilities:
    The responsibilities and skills communicated below are intended to describe the general nature and level of work expected for this position. This is not an exhaustive list, and duties may vary.

    Pre-Install Preparation:

    • Review job summaries and address any questions with the scheduling department.
    • Memorize the scope of work to identify deviations on-site.
    • Keep tools organized and inventory supplies for weekly installations.
    • Load necessary supplies and equipment into the van.

    Install Services:

    • Arrive at job sites 15 minutes early.
    • Check in via email and log in on TSheets.
    • Introduce yourself to the site contact and clarify work hours.
    • Obtain necessary maps, keys, and escort details.
    • Verify products and staging areas with the site contact.
    • Walk through the site and discuss ADA compliance, placement, and other details.
    • Communicate any challenges or deviations to the office.
    • Set daily install goals and prep accordingly.
    • Ensure clear communication of Evergreen’s expectations with end users.
    • For multiple site locations, notify the next location before arrival.

    Project Management:

    • Manage on-site installations and contact the office if additional assistance is needed.
    • Provide pictures of any on-site challenges.
    • Plan daily goals, breaks, and end times.
    • Review daily progress with the site contact and the office.
    • Prepare and submit nightly reports and daily track sheets.
    • If leading a team, ensure all members submit their paperwork.
    • Obtain a Quality Evaluation for all projects.

    Sales:

    • Make a strong first impression and exceed client expectations.
    • Connect with site contacts and sales reps to promote Evergreen.
    • Demonstrate the value of Evergreen through actions and communication.
    • Maintain a clean and organized install location.
    • When possible, show appreciation to distributors with gestures like delivering donuts or sandwiches.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Ability to stand, stoop, bend, and reach for long periods.
    • Work extended hours to meet project deadlines.
    • Lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive movements.

    Travel:

    Installers travel Monday through Friday out of town. Occasionally working over the weekend. Most work starts at 7am but some jobs require afternoon or evening work.

    There are occasions on large jobs where the team stays over a weekend, as travel to get home and back may be more burdensome for the team. Ideally, the team maximizes the time away in order to get home sooner. Installers work independently or as part of a team on projects.

    Compensation:

    • $16-17.00/hour depending on experience, plus;
    • Commissions: $1.00 per dispenser installed;
    • Travel compensation: $14.00/hour; and
    • Daily per diem: $40.00.
