    Begert Stainless, Inc. (BSI), a quality leader in stainless steel fabrication, has current opportunities for quality-driven, self-motivated, and team-oriented individuals for entry-level Production Associate/Welder Trainees to join our family-friendly team in our Marshfield facility.  First shift – Monday thru Thursday (Four 10-hour days), enjoy 3 day weekends throughout the year! Responsibilities: • Trains with an experienced welder or fabricator and perform all duties, as assigned • Able to learn and perform entry-level welding duties, as assigned • Performs entry-level cutting, grinding, and polishing, as assigned • Uses a variety of hand and power tools effectively and efficiently • Able to clean welds and create quality finishes using hand tools, power tools, and knowledge of metal finishing techniques gained through on the job training • Learn to read and understand technical manuals and blueprints • Able to follow written instructions and follow standard operating procedures • Operate and troubleshoot equipment as assigned and/or bring issues to management for resolution • High regard for quality and attention to details • Demonstrates basic math, mechanical, and measuring skills • Responsible for keeping work areas clean, safe, and organized • Complies with all safety rules, policies, procedures, and work practices • Identify and report unsafe practices to Manager immediately • Participates in safety meetings and job training • Adheres to the company's core values Qualifications: • High School diploma or GED is preferred • A strong understanding of mathematical principles • A working understanding of production equipment including electrical and manual tools (saws, squares, calipers, etc.) is preferred • Outstanding attention to detail • Continuous learning and improvement attitude • Problem solving as necessary Compensation: $13 - $17 hourly
