    Behavior Support Interventionist – ECEAP

    LCECP offers a full range of services to our families. These services are the key to family and child success with our program. To deliver these crucial services, we need someone to make sure the classroom team has the tools and training needed to deliver high quality services. LCECP is seeking a caring professional, with experience in behavioral interventions to help our staff deliver quality instruction to all the children we serve.

    Position Summary:

    The Behavior Support Interventionist will work under the direction of the Mental Health and Disability Coordinator, to implement positive behavior supports. The Behavior Support Interventionist will work with classroom staff as a resource and to ensure they have the support needed for successful classroom interventions. This role will be relied on to deliver proper supports, maintain organized records, and have high level communication skills.

    The Behavior Support Interventionist will be responsible for:

    · Assisting with developing interventions and functional behavior assessments

    · Working with a variety of teams and participating in multi-disciplinary team meetings

    · Accurate record keeping and strong communication with staff and other teams.

    Education Requirement:

    · Bachelors in Special Education or related field – will consider other degree levels with relevant experience

    · Experience working with children and families in early childhood settings.

    · Must be willing to get further education as needed/required to acquire or maintain skills.

    Wage: $20.53 per hour

    Shift: 8 am to 4:30 pm | Monday to Friday | Approximately 37 weeks per year.

    This position is eligible for full dental and health benefits after 90 days.
