Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician (BT) to join our team! This is an in-house service providing direct support to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). In this role, you will implement behavior intervention plans, work directly with clients, and collaborate with supervisors to support individualized treatment goals. Responsibilities:
Provide direct 1:1 therapy using evidence-based interventions
Implement individualized treatment plans designed by a BCBA
Collect data on client progress and report findings to the supervising clinician
Utilize positive reinforcement and prompting strategies to support skill development
Maintain detailed and accurate session notes
Communicate effectively with the client, family, and team members
Adhere to ethical and professional standards in all interactions
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, or related field preferred)
Previous experience working with children with autism or developmental disabilities is a plus
Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification (or willingness to obtain)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to follow treatment plans and work collaboratively with a team
CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or willingness to obtain)
