    What will you be doing as a Behavior Technician?

    The Behavior Technician works in the family’s home providing 1:1 behavioral instruction, and support to families, and implementing a behavioral program for children with autism or other disabilities. If interested in the field of Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, Education, and/or Therapy, this is a great way to make a difference with the families and clients we serve.     Responsibilities:

    Provide 1:1 direct programs in the home (You will be trained)

    Must be energetic and enthusiastic about working with children

    Collect and record accurate data on client progress

    Work with children in their homes providing a safe and supportive environment

    Qualifications:

    A positive, fun, and enthusiastic attitude to serve children

    Ability to work independently, and is an effective communicator

    Must be reliable and willing to work with a variety of clients

    Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus, but not required

    Behavioral knowledge and/or experience is preferred, but not required

    RBT certified is a plus, but not required (we will support you in obtaining certification!)

    Requirements:

    Availability to work a consistent weekly schedule: typically, afternoon/evenings with some morning/weekend availability!

    Eligibility to work in the United States

    Valid California Driver’s license

    Reliable transportation, and valid automobile Insurance

    High school diploma or equivalent
