    Step Beyond Development is looking for a compassionate, energetic, and creative individual who has a passion for helping individuals with autism grow towards a more independent way of living! Our center works with children ages 2 to 18 years old. A RBT, is a behavior therapist who works 1:1 with their clients teaching them developmental skills, social skills, play skills, daily living skills, and behavior replacement skills (i.e, coping skills). You also are in charge of keeping daily session data/documentation.

    Responsibilities

    You will be trained for free to become a Registered Behavioral Technician

    Provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children with autism in a center-based setting

    Teach children with autism, communication, social, and self-help skills in an individual or small group setting

    Collect data to monitor the progress of the children on the autism spectrum

    Provide regular written and verbal progress on treatment goals

    Follow all policies and procedures, including, but not limited to, privacy and reporting standards as set by our clinical team

    Communicate clearly and effectively - both orally and written - with clients, families, and colleagues

    Attend meetings, training, and workshops to acquire further knowledge

    Position Requirements:

    · High School Diploma minimum

    · MUST have 1 year's work experience with children with developmental disabilities.

    · Reliable transportation

    · Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, spend time on your feet, as well as an ability to lift items up to 50 lbs.

    · Strong written and verbal communication skills

    · Excellent time management and interpersonal skills

    · A positive attitude and willingness to take direction from senior staff members

    *** Must be available to work 3:30pm-6:30pm shifts ***
