Behavioral Health Consultant (LCSW)

A Behavioral Health Consultant is needed in St. Louis, Missouri.
St. Louis is a vibrant metro known for its history, food scene, and community-focused neighborhoods. This opportunity is with a government-funded, mission-driven community health center providing integrated care to underserved populations.

Salary and Benefits

• $65,000 – $90,000+ based on experience

Responsibilities

• Full-time, onsite position
• Outpatient setting embedded within a primary care clinic
• 4.5 days of clinical work, 0.5 day admin time
• Integrated model – consultant role, no individual caseload
• Work alongside providers to address behavioral health needs in real time
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and care teams to support patients of all ages
• Engage in problem-solving and care coordination during medical visits
• Use critical thinking to navigate high-pressure situations and support diverse patient needs
• EMR: EPIC

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW)
• Active LCSW license in Missouri
• Minimum 2 years of experience preferred; 8+ years ideal
• Experience in integrated or fast-paced settings strongly preferred
• Must be a self-starter, quick thinker, and strong communicator
