    CASE LOCATION: Atlanta Area TIMES: Monday to Friday, 3:00pm to 7:00pm(Monday-Friday). Saturday(10am-2pm) CASE WEEKLY HOURS: 25. SESSIONS: In-home sessions.

    Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) works with individuals that have a diagnosed need for behavioral therapy. Examples include individuals diagnosed with Intellectual and Developmental Disability (IDD) and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

    The RBT supports and implements the Behavior Intervention plan designed by a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). The RBT provides evidence-based interventions science validated following the Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles to promote the learner skill acquisition and replacement of maladaptive behaviors. ABA based therapy is individualized to the learner's skill level and learning needs.

    The job duties RBTs perform every day include:

    • Provide one-to-one compassionate ABA direct services to clients in need
    • Follow the behavior reduction and behavioral skill acquisition protocols
    • Collecting and recording data based on the client's behavior
    • Empathically communicate with clients, families, and supervisor
    • Assist the BCBA during the behavioral assessment process
    • Assist the BCBA in the preparation of the client learning materials
    • Demonstrate ability to set and meet goals and deadlines
    • Enthusiastically motivate the clients to learn while providing effective ABA services.
    • Seek appropriate consultation from the supervisor to ensure effective treatment implementation.

    It is ultimately up to the supervisor to determine the tasks the RBT will perform day today, as they are responsible for the RBT behaviors when delivering ABA services. RBT must have excellent written, verbal, and time management skills, as well as the ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients, supervisors, therapeutic service providers, and school teachers.
