  • Responsibilities

    The Behavioral Health Urgent Care (BHUC) Program Manager is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the operations, performance, and clinical services of the Behavioral Health Urgent Care. This position collaborates with management, staff, and community stakeholders to guide organizational development, ensure quality care delivery, and maintain the BHUC. Registered Nursing licensure required.

     

    We are seeking a full-time BHUC Program Manager to assist with the following:

    Operations

    • Assumes responsibility for the daily operational needs of the BHUC and provides ongoing support to direct care staff to ensure that effective, efficient, and quality services are consistently provided.
    • Ensure adherence to all policies and procedures relative to the care coordination and management, and care transition functions and activities for the BHUC.
    • Responsible for oversight of BHUC data collection, analyzing BHUC data, and preparing reports.
    • Readily and accurately identifies opportunities for improvement relating to the delivery of services, quality of work, and consumer care issues for the BHUC.
    • Recommend strategies for improvement in performance, training materials, and best practices.
    • Display a willingness to work beyond what is required periodically and travel for training and/or supervision needs.

    Collaboration

    • Works with inter-agency departments, to establish relationships in the community and maintain community outreach efforts.
    • Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with community-based organizations in the service area.
    • Collaborates with Crisis Leadership, with the support of the Quality Assurance Department, managing effective, comprehensive performance improvement processes, that are outcome-driven and establish a culture of excellence in quality and service.

    Staff Support and Development

    • Develop, manage, and supervise the BHUC staff.
    • Management of and administrative oversight of the BHUC nurses.
    • Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring recommendations, planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
    • Provides oversight of payroll services and attendance management, including authorization of leave and paid time off requests for BHUC staff.

    $75,000 per year
