Job Summary
We are seeking a Behavior specialist to join our team! In this role, you will conduct assessments, and create individualized treatment plans for individuals with disabilities. You must be knowledgeable with ODP 6400 regulations. If you are an experienced Behavior Specialist who wants to make a difference in your community and clients' lives, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities
Perform intakes and assessments
Create individualized treatment plans for each client
Provides leadership in the design/redesign of services to meet individual’s identified needs as defined in the ISP and the waiver requirements.
Use evidence-based treatment methods to facilitate group and individual treatments
Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient information and treatment plan
Perform regular wellness checks
Adhere to ODP 6400 regulatory standards
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or similar field
State Licensure is required but not necessary
Active listening skills
Previous experience as a behavior specialist preferred
Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certified
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Highly organized
