We are seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will work with individuals, particularly children, with developmental disabilities to implement behavior intervention plans and provide support in various settings.
Duties
- Conduct behavioral assessments and implement treatment plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Provide one-on-one behavior therapy sessions
- Collect data on client progress and behavior
- Assist in the development of individualized goals and objectives
- Collaborate with families and caregivers to ensure consistency in implementing interventions
- Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
Skills
- Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities
- Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles
- Ability to conduct diagnostic evaluations and patient assessments
- Familiarity with medical terminology related to behavioral health
- Strong interpersonal skills for working with people with diverse needs
- Patience, empathy, and compassion in providing patient care
