Job Summary
We are seeking a Behavioral Therapist to join our team! In this role, you will be observing and interacting with patient behavior, responding to behavioral problems with effective interventions, communicating with the clinical director and/or BCBA, collecting ongoing data on paper or digital platform, support social skills training, and keeping detailed records of therapy session.
Responsibilities
Observing and implementing ABA principles with patients in the home, community, and/or clinic setting.
Seeking interventions for behavioral and developmental challenges.
Under supervision, implement treatment plans for individual patients.
Keeping detailed records for the clinical supervisor in the implementation of treatment plans and the effectiveness of programs.
Use evidence-based treatment methods to facilitate group and individual treatments
Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient information and treatment plan
Adhere to all facility and clinical standards
Qualifications
Minimum high school degree, and preferably individuals enrolled in a college program or ready to graduate in Psychology, Child Development, Special Education or a related field
Experience working with individuals ages 2 to 40-years-old, preferable with autism, intellectual disability, and other developmental disorders, especially non-verbal patients.
Strong communication, time-management, and organizational skills.
Previous experience as a behavioral health therapist preferred
Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certified
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
