As a Benefits Coordinator with the Wellness Team, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service while coordinating the administration of wellness options for our clients. You will be responsible for guiding clients through the process of selecting, implementing, and managing their wellness plan, ensuring their needs are met with efficiency and care. Additionally, you will be providing ongoing education and support for all employees under each client. This role requires a strong understanding of health benefits, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping others achieve their health and wellness goals through education and ongoing assistance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and employees, addressing inquiries, concerns, and providing timely assistance.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients by delivering exceptional customer service experiences.
- Actively listen to client needs and concerns, offering empathetic support and personalized solutions.
- Guide clients through the initial education and enrollment process of the wellness program, explaining benefits, payroll impacts, and other program details.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate implementation and execution of wellness plans.
- Monitor plan utilization and performance, providing regular updates and recommendations to clients for optimization.
- Educate clients on the features and benefits of their wellness options, offering resources and guidance to maximize participation and engagement.
- Provide ongoing support to employees, addressing questions, troubleshooting issues, and offering proactive solutions to enhance their wellness journey.
- Conduct training sessions or presentations for clients and employees to improve their understanding of wellness program offerings and encourage participation.
- Be able to confidently review health benefits as well as payroll and tax information with clients and employees.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, inquiries, and resolutions in the company's CRM system.
- Report on client feedback, utilization trends, and program performance to inform strategic decision-making and continuous improvement efforts.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies related to wellness plan administration and customer service.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Education, or Human Resources preferred.
- Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably in healthcare, business operations, or insurance industries.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on empathy, active listening, and building rapport with clients.
- Detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in using CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant tools.
- Knowledge of health benefit programs, health promotion strategies, and behavior change theories is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

Salary:
$40,000.00-$50,000.00
