Bentkey Ventures (The Daily Wire) is looking for an Illustrator to join our Post-Production Department in Nashville. The Illustrator on the Bentkey Post-Production team will illustrate content for various Bentkey / Daily Wire video projects as well as those for outside clients who hire us while following the general creative guidance of the Post-Production Manager and striving to meet the high-quality standards of our brand. We are looking for a candidate with strong illustration, digital painting, and conceptual skills, as well as creative thinking. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Execute the creative vision of clients and Company executives on video and film
• Draw characters and perspective in environments
• Research visual reference for assigned projects
• Match a variety of different styles while meeting esthetic and technical criteria. Styles include but are not limited to:
• Photo-real compositing
• Graphic designs for video thumbnails
• Illustrations for informative videos and satirical videos
• Take input and direction from Supervisors; thrive on receiving creative and constructive feedback
• Routinely collaborate with fellow design team members and effectively communicate design ideas
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Take on delegated tasks with minimum supervision
• Manage projects from concept to completion
• Assist with the efforts of other Production and Post-Production team members
• Meet deadlines assigned by management

EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's Degree in Art and/or 2-3 years relevant work experience
• Strong instinct for creative and storytelling
• Well-versed in color design, lighting, composition, and form
• Proficient in standard graphic design and illustration software including: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Procreate, traditional media, and Microsoft Word
• Adobe After Effects, Premier, and Acrobat proficiency a plus
• Strong graphic design, visual design, and typography skills
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and sometimes stressful conditions
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent attention to detail

REPORTS TO: POST-PRODUCTION MANAGER

START DATE: IMMEDIATE

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: FULL-TIME, EXEMPT

COMPENSATION: $52K-$54K
