    Job Description

    JOB DESCRIPTION:

    Boutique Florida law firm seeks an experienced Florida certified paralegal to join its growing team! This is a full-time position with a competitive benefits package! Applicant must be dependable and able to work independently as well as be able to multi-task and be self-motivated.

     

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Minimum 2 + years of experience as a Paralegal handling civil litigation cases.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Experience with e-filing, time entry, billing, scheduling, calendaring, drafting letters, and corresponding with opposing counsel and judicial assistants.
    • Strong attention to case details and ability to proofread all documents and correspondence for accuracy.
    • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive work attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
    • Excellent computer proficiency (Microsoft Office 365 Suite, CLIO, Microsoft Teams, and experience with document management systems preferred).
    • Resume and two references required.

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Leads Acquisitions - handle new case intake and vetting incoming clients.
    • Assist attorneys with civil litigation case load from initial filing through trial.
    • Prepare documents for pleadings and discovery matters.
    • Organize documents received for litigation.
    • Other Responsibilities - perform related duties assigned by supervisor.
