What are we looking for?
We are looking for a personable, polished, and articulate teammate who will represent BetterHelp during our rigorous counselor interviewing and onboarding process. You will be accountable for reviewing and interviewing (over video) licensed professional counselors that we bring to the BetterHelp platform, in order to ensure that every counselor is properly licensed, trained, experienced, and accredited. You are willing to learn the requirements necessary to become a licensed provider, in order to properly review counselor applications. You have a genuine interest in connecting high-quality counselors with people who are seeking convenient, discreet, and affordable access to therapy.
What will you do?
- You will be accountable for the day-to-day operations for Provider Network applicants, including initial application review, license verifications, initial credentialing and sanctions investigations, and reporting on pipeline health and activity.
- You will interview and onboard new counselors who join the BetterHelp platform.
- You will be accountable for maintaining high levels of customer service and commitment to SLAs.
- You will be a liaison between our BetterHelp Clinical Team, our Provider Network Team, and our licensed professional counselors.
- You will work with applicants all the way from their initial application through to their license verification and final approval.
- You will carefully and correctly document each step of the process in our internal systems.
- You will proactively conduct outreach and maintain productive communications with applicants and recently approved counselors.
- You will present yourself professionally at all times in both written and verbal/video communications.
- You will enjoy great teamwork, have lots of fun, and take pride in building a world-class product that makes a difference in people's lives.

REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
- Outstanding time management skills
- Tech-savvy - being able to grasp, operate, and master complicated computer systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Patient, trustworthy, and effective working with counselors all over the U.S.
- Ambitious, hardworking, eager to get results and succeed

- Completed or in progress - Bachelors or Masters degree in psychology, social work, or counseling
