    About Us: FedVet Construction is a veteran-owned, small business specializing in government contracting with a strong commitment to giving back to veterans. We are currently engaged in a Multiple Award Construction Contract (MACC) at Naval Base Guam, and we are seeking a skilled Bid Coordinator with federal NAVFAC experience to join our team.

    Job Summary: The Bid Coordinator will work closely with our Estimator and Proposal Writer to coordinate and conduct site visits, collaborate with subcontractors for price proposals, and ensure that all specifications are thoroughly reviewed and accurately priced for task orders. The General Contractor (GC) is located in California, so the candidate must be flexible in regard to the time difference. In addition to these responsibilities, the Bid Coordinator will also perform various administrative duties in the office, such as maintaining project documentation, organizing files, scheduling meetings, and assisting with correspondence. This role is crucial for meeting submission deadlines and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of bid proposals.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Coordinate and conduct site visits to gather necessary information for bid preparation.

    Collaborate closely with the Estimator and Proposal Writer to review project specifications and ensure all necessary components are included in pricing.

    Liaise with subcontractors to obtain and review price proposals, ensuring completeness and compliance with project specifications.

    Prepare and organize all necessary documentation for bid submissions, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to submission deadlines.

    Perform administrative duties such as maintaining project documentation, organizing files, scheduling meetings, and assisting with correspondence.

    Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders involved in the bidding process.

    Monitor and track the status of bids, providing updates and feedback to the Estimator, Proposal Writer, and project management team.

    Assist in the preparation of cost estimates and bid packages for submission to clients.

    Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.

    Qualifications:

    Proven experience in bid coordination, preferably within federal NAVFAC contracts.

    Strong knowledge of construction project specifications and the bidding process.

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with subcontractors, suppliers, and team members.

    Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

    Proficiency in using construction management software and tools.

    Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    Flexibility to accommodate the time difference between Guam and the General Contractor's office in California.

    Knowledge of federal contracting regulations and requirements is a plus.

    Education & Experience:

    Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.

    Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, with a focus on federal contracts.

    Additional Job Information:

    Salary Range: $40,000 - $60,000 annually
