    We are looking for an experienced Bid Manager & Business Development Specialist to lead our bidding and sales efforts. This role is critical in securing government and institutional contracts while also driving direct sales. Our office has accounts and incoming leads that can also benefit from an In-House Sales Representative which we currently lack.

    The ideal candidate has a strong track record in bid management (RFPs, tenders, proposals) and is skilled in business development and sales. You will be responsible for identifying opportunities, developing competitive proposals, and managing the end-to-end bid process to win contracts and generate revenue.

    Key Responsibilities

    Bid Management & Proposal Development (we will provide software subscriptions, i.e. BidNet and others)

    Identify, evaluate, and respond to bid opportunities (government, institutional, and private sector).

    Lead the proposal development process, ensuring compliance with bid requirements.

    Develop bid strategies, pricing models, and value propositions.

    Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Operations, Finance, Legal) to structure bids effectively.

    Track bid progress, deadlines, and post-submission follow-ups.

    Sales & Business Development

    Manage inbound sales inquiries and convert them into revenue-generating contracts.

    Develop relationships with key decision-makers and procurement officers.

    Research market trends to identify new sales opportunities.

    Ensure seamless communication between bidding, sales, and operations teams.

    Process & Strategy

    Maintain a bid library with past proposals, pricing strategies, and winning templates.

    Implement best practices for tracking bid performance and improving success rates.

    Optimize internal workflows for bid management, sales, and order processing.

    Required Qualifications & Skills: ✅ BID EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in bid management, RFP responses, or proposal development. ✅ Business Development Experience: Proven track record in sales, client relations, or account management. ✅ Project Management: Ability to oversee multiple bids simultaneously and meet deadlines. ✅ Technical & Analytical Skills: Strong expertise in pricing strategies, proposal writing, and contract review. ✅ Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. ✅ Industry Experience: Experience in government contracting, B2B sales, or promotional/manufacturing industries preferred.
