Big Huge Games is seeking talented students with a passion for games to join our fun and awesome team located in Timonium, Maryland for internships in the Spring of 2019!
As an intern at Big Huge Games you will begin your time with us in mid-January and work alongside our team of individuals dedicated to creating world class mobile games. You will learn from industry veterans while working to meet deadlines and produce deliverable products. Our goals are simple: make great games, have a great place to come to work every day, and live up to the motto “You gotta have fun to make fun.”

ART

The Art team is looking for artists with diverse experience and top-notch artistic skill for our spring intern team. As a part of the art team you will aid in creating assets that maintain and develop the visual identity of current and upcoming titles. Using excellent time management and communication skills you will work with all departments to support marketing and branding efforts and be tasked with creating additional 3D and 2D game assets as necessary.

The Design team is looking for an intern to help create detailed design specs for new gameplay features who can provide feedback on upcoming features and releases. Our ideal intern will be able to work independently, and with other Designers, to implement new game content.

ENGINEERING
The Engineering team is looking for interns who can combine strong programming skills with a passion for games, and the ability to work well with others. Your input and technical abilities will help contribute to our long-term development goals and direction. You will work with multiple departments to ensure the best systems and tools to make our teams efficient and our games great. Your work will involve writing efficient, optimized code for either client, server, or tools, and potentially working with 3rd party libraries and frameworks.

IT
The Big Huge Games IT team is looking for a dedicated enthusiastic intern to help maintain our IT infrastructure. You will use your team skills and knowledge of IT to assist the team in the management of hardware, software, telecom, inventory, and projects across the entire company. You will get experience in Cisco Switches, Access Points, and Physical network connection, Telecom, Inventory Management, Software install, Cloud Management, Assembly of Commercial Furniture and just about any other non death-defying feat that will give us relief or you viable experience.

QA
The QA team is looking for interns to help execute test cases to verify bug-free functionality of new and existing features. As a part of the QA team you will discover, research, and document project bugs and defects. Excellent written and verbal communication skills will be utilized while working directly with the programming and design teams to investigate and reproduce complex issues.

UI ARTIST

The Art team is looking for an up and coming UI artist with impeccable artistic skills and an eye for design for our spring intern team. As a UI intern will collaborate with Design, Art, and Engineering staff to improve the usability of live products and craft the user experience of products still in development. Using excellent time management and communication skills you will work with all departments to support marketing and branding efforts and be tasked with creating assets that maintain and develop the visual identity of current and upcoming titles.
Qualifications:
Internship opportunities through Big Huge Games are paid, full-time (40hr/week), and on-site in our office located just north of Baltimore City.
