    What we expect:

    People Operations Manager/ Human Resources reports directly to Operations and collaborates with the CEO and leadership team.

    Integrity, intelligence, honesty and a willingness to learn, dig in, and be world famous.

    Recruiting Skills: People Operations Manager will evaluate and elevate our recruiting strategy to attract and retain top talent and support our restaurant growth plan.

    Continuing and ongoing education and training for our workforce: Help identify and lead ongoing education for leadership - help us be best in class at all levels of our leadership team.

    Nurture a positive working environment and bring passion and understanding to the issues of the day: health and wellness, DEI, managing multiple generations in the workforce, and modernizing systems that have become outdated.

    Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, meaningful benefits, worker’s comp and workplace safety, and people related procedures across the Big Red F universe.

    Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management

    Feedback, reviews, benefits administration, plenty to keep us all busy; but people people people first…

    Qualifications

    Proven working experience as People Manager/ HR Manager or other HR executive in restaurants and hospitality

    Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company

    In-depth knowledge of current labor laws, and HR best practices

    Degree in Human Resources or related field

    Communication skills that are legendary, clear, motivational. Irreverent is okay too.

    Ability to prioritize and multitask: restaurants are busy, crowded, loud, exciting and there is a lot going on at odd hours, in waves… offices are quiet and predictable. The right candidate will be successful supporting both environments.
