The essential duties and responsibilities of the Assistant Manager position are designed to assist the Retreat Director to help ensure exceptional guest service and team member satisfaction, these duties include but are not limited to the following:
Assist the Retreat Director in managing all aspects of the Daily Operations:
Directly assist the Retreat Director to supervise all aspects of Retreat operations, from driving revenue and profitability, ensuring brand systems and processes are adhered to with consistency through each shift
Plan and implement Front Desk Sales Associate new hire training, in-the-moment coaching, role playing and on-going sales training is essential for the success of the Front Desk Team
Stay updated on all services, products and promotions, be diligent in setting the example for your team
Effectively manage team member to ensure proper execution of daily operations
Collaborate with the Retreat Director to set individual team member goals; create plans and convert plans into action to meet and exceed goals
Lead by example, demonstrating the ability to achieve personal goals
A strong candidate will possess the following:
Must have at least 1-year sales, retail or spa management experience
Self-starter mentality with leadership, organization, communication and interpersonal skills
At least 1-year experience in training, coaching, and conflict resolution
Capacity to develop positive relationships with employees to manage coaching/mentoring with discipline
Basic business math skills
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
Must be able to fluently speak Spanish
Must be able to work varied hours to include weekends, evenings, and holidays
