Responsibilities: • Analyze client needs, identify solutions, and determine case strategies • Counsel clients by assessing options and determining the best course of action for a successful outcome • Appear in court on behalf of clients and argue motions during legal proceedings • Oversee paralegals, law clerks, and administrative staff • Take responsibility for administrative staff relating to client invoicing/billing records, setting up meetings with clients, and completing tasks Qualifications: • Bilingual in English and Spanish is required • Minimum of 3-5 years experience in Family Court in Broward, Miami-Dade and Palm Beach counties • Experienced managing a dedicated paralegal to maximize productivity • Willing to have difficult client conversations, while showing empathy and compassion for their troubles, and highlighting possibilities that will enable them to see a path forward with their situation more clearly • Member in good standing with the Florida Bar • Well-versed in legal research software (Westlaw/Lexis) • Ability to use Microsoft Office is required • Able to work independently while handling multiple files • Jobseekers should be a member of their local bar association - active member preferred Association • Public speaking, decision-making, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills are necessary for this role Compensation: $90,000 - $150,000+ yearly DOE
