Job Description:
The FNOL rep plays a critical role in the insurance claims process by receiving and documenting initial reports of loss or damage from policyholders. They gather essential information about the incident, such as date, time, and cause, while ensuring accurate and complete documentation.
Responsibilities:
Documenting initial reports of loss or damage from policyholders accurately
Gathering essential details about the incident, including date, time, cause, and description
Providing guidance and support to policyholders regarding the claims process
Initiating the claims investigation process and assigning cases to appropriate adjusters
Prioritizing and handling high-priority or complex cases
Communicating with stakeholders to obtain additional information or documentation
Maintaining accurate records of all interactions and claim-related updates
Qualifications:
Strong communication and customer service skills to interact effectively with policyholders and stakeholders
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to handle multiple claims and prioritize tasks
Attention to detail to accurately document and record information
Basic knowledge of insurance policies and claims processes
Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations
Proficiency in using computer systems and software for data entry and documentation
Adaptability to learn and apply new information quickly

Pay: $19.55 - $23.55 per hour
