Key Responsibilities
Sales Target Achievement: Contribute to setting company-wide sales goals and assume responsibility for achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual international flight sales targets. Report regularly on sales performance metrics.
Customer Service Excellence: Ensure exceptional pre-sale, in-sale, and post-sale customer experiences. Proactively manage flight changes, cancellations, and delays, resolving issues to maintain high customer satisfaction.
Cost and Profit Management: Implement effective cost management strategies to maximize profitability and maintain a healthy revenue stream.
Team Leadership: Recruit, develop, and lead the flight sales team across North America. Set strategic goals and manage team performance to meet short-term and long-term objectives
Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and manage strong relationships with key customers using CRM tools, while identifying new business opportunities and expanding the customer base.
Market Insights and Strategy: Stay informed on industry trends and competitor activity within the aviation and travel sectors. Leverage this knowledge to shape and refine strategic initiatives.
Qualifications
Experience:
Minimum 5 years of experience in international flight sales, with a deep understanding of flight booking, visa handling, cancellations, and refunds.
Prior experience managing a sales team with demonstrated success in driving revenue growth.
Client Management Skills:
Proven ability to maintain strong customer relationships and use CRM tools effectively to identify opportunities and foster customer loyalty.
Technical Proficiency:
Expertise in Global Distribution Systems (GDS) such as Amadeus, Sabre, and Travelport. Ability to analyze sales data and optimize booking systems for efficiency and accuracy.
Office Software Skills:
Strong command of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), particularly in generating sales reports and crafting strategic presentations.
Bilingual Communication:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish, with the ability to work seamlessly in a bilingual environment.
