    JOB SUMMARY – Guest Services Specialist: MetroLagoons in Tampa, FL is excited to announce that we are searching for talented individuals to join our amazing Lagoon Concierge Center team. We are a new full contact center looking for the perfect mix of sales and service, heavily seasoned within the world of hospitality and tourism. The Guest Service Specialist will be responsible for making outbound and taking inbound calls. You will assist with guest reservations, resident reservations, provide general information, facilitate tickets, rental, and sales activities, while exhibiting exceptional customer service skills and promoting a positive attitude.

    RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

    • Provide excellent customer service
    • Sell lagoon tickets, rental products, umbrella services and activities over via email, chat, and phone
    • Oversee emails from guests
    • Assist with guest reservations
    • Ensure guests are fully informed with clear and accurate information
    • Maintain a thorough understanding of the company's products or services
    • Document of customer interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints
    • Assist guests with any questions or concerns, ensuring all guest questions and concerns are addressed within a timely manner
    • Other duties as assigned, including assisting in other departments
    • Adherent to company policies, procedures, and ethical standards
    • Demonstrate the utmost integrity in all professional and personal matters
    • Ability to communicate efficiently in Spanish to assist residents and guest that only speak Spanish.
    • Ensure the residents of our Lagoon communities have a seamless application and reservation process.
    • Help guide and book guest parties.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • HS diploma or Equivalent required
    • Must be fluent in Spanish and English
    • 1 year of call center experience preferred
    • 1 year of sales preferred
    • Basic to intermediate computer skills
    • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
    • The ability to analyze situations, identify problems, and propose solutions
    • Effective time management skills to handle a high volume of inquiries and prioritize tasks
    • Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate documentation and information processing
    • Professional manner, discretion, and appearance
    • Must be available to work mornings, nights, holidays, and weekends.
    • Must be able to commute to the office in Tampa, FL 33602
