About the Role:

We are seeking a Bilingual Kitchen Assistant to join our team at La Esperanza Child Development Center, LLC in Rio Rancho, NM. This role will involve assisting in the preparation of meals for our young students and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.

Responsibilities:

Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, cooking, and serving

Ensure kitchen and dining areas are kept clean and sanitized

Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations

Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth daily operations

Assist in inventory management and ordering of kitchen supplies

Requirements:

Previous experience in a kitchen environment preferred

High School Diploma or GED

Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices

Ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
