The Wirth Law Office is an entrepreneurial family law and criminal defense firm that is on track for aggressive growth. We need a Receptionist to join our team and work directly with the owner and attorneys to support the team and help clients. We want to be known for helping clients navigate complicated legal matters and come out of an extremely emotional process feeling as though they are a better person, in a better position, and that they had a team behind them that really cared and fought for them. We are growing fast, and we need a Receptionist who can hit the ground running. Do you want to work with a team of "A" players who care as much as you do about your work and helping clients? Job Type: Full-time Responsibilities: This position will be responsible for important work, including: • Receiving and directing incoming phone calls from clients, potential clients, lawyers, and judges. • Receiving and greeting in-office guests and making them feel comfortable, offering beverages, et cetera. • Receiving and distributing mail and packages, stamping the date received on each parcel received. • Organizing and paying invoices and bills. • Properly using the firm's client management software. • Being a team player and covering for your fellow receptionist to ensure good service for clients. • Multitasking and balancing simultaneous tasks. • Creating a positive and professional first impression on behalf of the firm by maintaining a cheerful and positive attitude. Qualifications: If the statements below apply to you, then you may be our next Receptionist : • Fluent in English and Spanish. • Independent self-starter who thrives on immersion in a rapidly changing environment and excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. • Proactive, can-do attitude, with great follow-through and resourcefulness along with attention to detail. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to be personable yet firm. • Real-life experience & a few “battle scars” to give you empathy and understanding is an asset. • Experience overcoming a major obstacle in life and making an important change in your life, so you know at your core that others can do it too, is a plus. Compensation: $14 - $16 hourly
