    This position is fully in-person at our Baltimore office. WGK Personal Injury Lawyers, a respected law firm in Baltimore, MD, is seeking a skilled Personal Injury Legal Assistant to join our dynamic team. Renowned for our commitment to delivering top-tier legal services, we specialize in personal injury cases, with a focus on auto accidents. As a key member of our firm, you will play a crucial role in supporting our attorneys by managing case intake, maintaining clear and consistent client communication, and ensuring all case-related documents, records, and bills are accurate and up to date. You will also serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing compassionate and professional support throughout the legal process. We are looking for a candidate with strong organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and a genuine passion for helping others. Prior experience as a legal assistant is required. Responsibilities: • Client Communication : Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, translate for Spanish speaking clients, providing updates on case status, answering inquiries, and offering compassionate support throughout the legal process • Case Management : Assist in the intake of new cases, gather necessary information, open case files, and maintain up-to-date records in the firm’s case management system • Document Preparation and Filing : Prepare, proofread, and file legal documents such as settlement demands in a timely and accurate manner • Medical Records and Billing Management : Obtain and organize medical records, bills, and other documentation related to personal injury cases, ensuring accuracy for settlement negotiations or trials • Case Research : Conduct research related to case law, statutes, and legal precedents to support attorneys in the preparation of legal strategies and briefs • Client File Organization : Maintain comprehensive and organized physical and electronic client files, ensuring confidentiality and easy accessibility for all case-related documents Qualifications: • 2+ years of experience in personal injury case management, preferably in auto-accident cases • Bilingual (English and Spanish) • Proficiency in legal software applications • Strong Microsoft Office skills • Detail-oriented with a keen eye for accuracy • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality • Willingness to learn and take direction • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks Compensation: $50,000 - $64,000 yearly
