    We are seeking a customer-focused Bilingual Loan Officer Assistant to join a top producting team! This individual will support the team in delivering exceptional service to clients throughout the loan process, from prequalification to closing. The ideal candidate will have expertise in working with borrowers, including running credit, assessing income, and utilizing LP and DU systems. Responsibilities include collecting initial documentation, organizing a complete file for submission to Processing, and structuring and structuring loans to fit the clients needs. The role requires someone who is Bilingual, who thrives in a fast-paced setting, excels at multitasking, and demonstrates outstanding time management skills. Responsibilities: • The Loan Officer Assistant is responsible for assisting the Loan Officer with completing applications, lead follow-up, initial file set-up, and management of files from start to close • Up front, the Loan Officer Assistant is to take applications, gather initial documentation, structure the loan, and prepare the file to be evaluated by the Loan Officer. This must be done within 2 business days of a complete app coming in. Loan Officer Assistants are also to follow up on leads at LO's discretion • Once under contract, the LOA is responsible for ensuring the file is ready to be disclosed accurately and ready to submit to processing with all initial documents. LOAs must submit complete files for processing within 3 business days. The file must be set up so that the file can be submitted to UW within 3 business days by the processor • Fully responsible for borrower contact from start to finish including keeping real estate agents and clients informed throughout the entire loan process • Must be bilingual and proficient in Encompass along with all loan programs, specifically bond, Conventional and FHA loans Qualifications: • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the mortgage industry required • NMLS license preferred - must be willing to get licensed • Experience supporting a top producer and handling a high volume of leads and files • Exceptional organization skills and ability to multi task and prioritize • Strong experience in Encompass preferred • Proficiency in running LP and DU • Skilled in pre-qualifying clients and structuring loan files • Must exhibit a positive attitude and be a team player • Strong focus on customer service and dedication to delivering exceptional service • Motivated, gritty, and able to work in a fast-paced environment • Strong guidelines and various loan program knowledge • Able to get creative on different loan scenarios and structure according to clients best interest Compensation: $55k - $65k DOE + competitive bps bonus structure
