We're hiring a mortgage loan officer assistant who will work directly with and support our branch manager and other loan origination staff. You’ll track leads daily, schedule appointments for the branch manager, review client paperwork and applications, and respond to customer inquiries on transactions as needed. Responsibilities: • Follow up and respond to customer and in-house inquiries on transactions as needed in order to provide superior customer service • Screen and make calls, book appointments and provide administrative support as needed • Verify all loan package documentation received is accurate and complete in accordance with company policy and procedures and report any discrepancies to the loan originator/ loan officer • Be the primary liaison between the mortgage loan officer and our clients and schedule meetings to discuss outstanding items • Assemble loan documentation as required necessary for verifications and underwriting such as loan files, loan packages, credit reports, and additional mortgage application paperwork Qualifications: • Fluency in both English and Spanish is required for this position. • Candidates must be located in the Pacific Time Zone (PST) to be considered. • 5+ years of mortgage experience with an understanding of Conventional, FHA, VA, Jumbo, and Non-QM loans • Encompass, Blend, and Big Purple Dot CRM experience preferred, but not required • Preferred degree in economics, banking, or finance, and a high school diploma or equivalent is required • NMLS license is not required but is preferred Compensation: $41,940 - $54,940 yearly
