We are looking for a skilled and motivated paralegal to be an integral part of our legal team. In this role, you won’t just be filling out forms—you’ll be conducting in-depth legal research, drafting compelling motions, and playing a key role in shaping case strategies. You’ll work alongside attorneys and legal assistants in a collaborative pod system, ensuring clients receive top-notch legal representation. Responsibilities: Legal Research & Drafting • Conduct in-depth legal research on complex immigration and family law matters. • Draft motions, briefs, affidavits, and legal arguments under attorney supervision. • Assist in preparing responses to Requests for Evidence (RFEs) and legal notices. • Work closely with attorneys to develop winning case strategies and compelling legal arguments. Higher-Level Client & Agency Interaction • Handle more advanced client inquiries that require legal expertise. • Communicate directly with USCIS, EOIR, and family courts on substantive legal matters. • Draft and manage legal correspondence while working with opposing counsel and agencies. Case & Filing Management • Review and finalize filing packets prepared by legal assistants, ensuring legal arguments are sound. • Track critical filing deadlines and ensure compliance with firm and court procedures. • Maintain meticulously organized case records using case management systems (Docketwise, Monday.com). Qualifications: What We’re Looking For: • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Immigration Paralegal. • Bilingual in Spanish and English (Required). • Sharp legal research and persuasive writing skills. • Proven experience in drafting motions, affidavits, and legal briefs. • Ability to juggle multiple cases, deadlines, and priorities with ease. • Tech-savvy and proficient in case management software (Monday.com, Docketwise, or similar tools). Compensation: $1,600 - $1,900 monthly
