  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    • Billing System Familiarization: Gain an understanding of our billing system, billing processes, and policies to ensure accurate invoicing and billing support.
    • Purchase Order (PO) Management: Track and maintain PO expiry data and notify the A/R team about customers with expired POs to ensure continuous billing flow.
    • Installment PO Monitoring: Monitor the PO email box for installment POs, attach and update these in CPQ billing as required to reflect the correct billing status.
    • Installment Billing Validation: Verify installment billing details on the A/R scheduler check report to ensure accuracy and completeness of billing information.
    • NORAM Hold Billing Report Review: Validate first installment billing on the NORAM Hold Billing Report, confirming that billing information is up to date.
    • Month-End Invoice Processing: At month-end, ensure that NetSuite invoices are dated for the current month when still processing prior month invoices in the first week of the new month.

    This is a hybrid role out of Detroit, MI (2 days per week).

    Qualifications

    Minimum Requirements:

    • 1+ year of experience in a billing, accounts receivable, or finance support role, ideally within a technology or SaaS environment.
    • HS Diploma or GED required.

    Preferred Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
    • Familiarity with Salesforce, billing software, CPQ platforms, or ERP systems like NetSuite is a plus.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data tracking and reporting.
    • Ability to meet deadlines, handle multiple tasks concurrently and work well with all levels within the organization.
    • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
    • Effective written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional interactions and email correspondence management.

    DOE, salary $55K - $60K, plus Health, Dental, Life, STD, LTD, 401K, PTO. Total compensation may vary depending on candidate experience/education and location.
