We are seeking a dedicated Billing Analyst to join our dynamic team in El Segundo, CA. As a Billing Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely billing for our clients. You will process invoices, manage accounts receivable, and provide excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Process and prepare monthly invoices for client accounts.
- Review and verify billing transactions for compliance.
- Manage accounts receivable, including processing and reconciling.
- Identify and collect past-due balances.
- Resolve billing/payment discrepancies.
- Collaborate with attorneys and office supervisors to maintain adherence to client billing guidelines.
- Submit and monitor invoices through manual and electronic billing systems.
- Provide excellent customer service for client inquiries.
- Ensure all tasks are completed within deadlines.
- Assist in training team members.
- Perform other billing-related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of billing/collections experience at a law firm.
- Strong attention to detail and highly organized.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Excel at an intermediate level.
- Experience in data entry and working with computerized systems.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in billing/collections, with a focus on e-billing software (Tymetrix, Legal X, Collaborati, or similar).
- Bachelor's degree in business (preferred) or equivalent work experience.
