Position Overview: We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Billing Assistant to support our finance and accounting team on-site. This part-time role has potential for full-time hours based on performance and business needs. The ideal candidate has experience in billing, invoicing, or general finance administration and can thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, review, and process invoices and billing statements accurately and on time.
Assist in resolving any billing discrepancies and provide excellent customer support to clients with billing inquiries.
Maintain accurate records of payments and invoicing data, updating our systems as needed.
Work closely with team members to support month-end and year-end financial processes.
Ensure compliance with company billing policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in billing, accounts receivable, or finance is preferred.
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel; familiarity with invoicing software is a plus.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work on-site and manage time effectively.
