Ocean Springs Tech, Inc. is seeking a Construction Coordinator to provide daily administrative support, bookkeeping, reporting, and organizational control throughout the construction process. This role involves assisting with projects from planning to completion, including managing project budgets and costs.
Key Responsibilities:
Partner with and assist all project leads and labor.
Communicate directly with homeowners to keep them informed of daily expectations and progress.
Allocate resources for all construction projects.
Review plans and blueprints with the construction field manager.
Develop project timetables.
Determine material and labor costs.
Negotiate with and hire subcontractors.
Provide comprehensive administrative and office management support.
Manage assigned contracts and project documents.
Handle billing and collect client payments.
Review and approve vendor and subcontractor invoices.
Manage vendor and trade contacts, permits, agreements, and terms.
Act as the primary contact for incoming phone calls, vendors, subcontractors, prospects, and clients.
Coordinate ordering, purchasing, scheduling, deliveries, and returns/exchanges for projects.
Organize project manager and subcontractor schedules according to job needs.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
2-5 years of experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
2-5 years of experience in the construction industry (pool construction experience preferred).
1+ years of experience reading blueprints/plans a plus.
3 years of experience in an office environment.
Excellent customer service abilities.
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Experience in construction project management is a plus.
Knowledge of office techniques and tools.
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Proficiency with general office equipment (scanners, copiers, etc.).
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
Physical and Environmental Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, standing, sitting or climbing stairs throughout the day.
The role involves working in an office with others.
