    Position Summary

    We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive Billing and collections Specialist to manage our invoicing and reconciliation process across platforms like QuickBooks and Bill.com. The ideal candidate has prior experience in healthcare billing—especially working with hospitals, SNFs, LTACs, and their accounts payable departments—and is confident building relationships over the phone to ensure timely payments.

    Key Responsibilities

    Generate and reconcile invoices using QuickBooks and Bill.com

    Monitor outstanding balances and follow up consistently with AP departments

    Build and maintain strong relationships with billing contacts at partner hospitals, SNFs, and LTACs

    Ensure accurate coding and documentation of billing details

    Research and resolve billing discrepancies in a timely and professional manner

    Collaborate with internal nursing and dispatch teams to ensure alignment on service records

    Maintain organized digital records of all invoicing activity

    Provide weekly aging reports and cash flow updates

    Qualifications

    2+ years of experience in medical billing, preferably in a mobile or post-acute care setting

    Comfortable using QuickBooks, Bill.com, and general G-Suite tools

    Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    Confidence in picking up the phone and following up assertively—but professionally—with AP departments

    Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

    Self-starter who can work independently with minimal oversight

    Nice to Have

    Familiarity with terminology related to vascular access, nursing services, or mobile healthcare

    Prior experience working with multiple facility types across different states or regions

    Background in billing for services tied to on-demand dispatch models

    Schedule & Compensation

    Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday (40 hours/week)
