    ** THIS IS NOT A REMOTE POSITION** Our office is located in Chesapeake, VA.

    We are looking for a full-time, experienced Director of Revenue Management to join our mid-sized busy ENT practice. This managerial position will be responsible for the calculation of provider charges, and maintenance of insurance documents and contracts. In addition, this position requires oversight of the submission of claims and filing procedures, as well as ensuring billing operations are performed in an accurate and timely manner. The Manager is also familiar with ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS forms. This position ensures the timely and accurate billing of claims, analyzes trends to improve operational effectiveness, and maintains accounts receivable under 30 days. Understanding of monthly productivity reports is required, with knowledge of revenue trends, budgeting, and averages.

    *Responsibilities

    Maintain patient accounts to ensure accurate billing and account collection

    Preparation of productivity data and financial reports (Excel) as requested by physicians or administrator

    Ensure payments are handled and deposited in a timely manner, and that services are coded correctly

    Research CPT and ICD-10 coding discrepancies for compliance and reimbursement accuracy

    Monitor collection percentages and prioritize focus for insurance and patient follow-up

    Review current status of patient accounts to identify & resolve billing and processing problems in a timely manner

    Coordinate with Front Office Manager that accurate data entry by front office personnel is occurring

    Participate in monthly budget meetings, monthly provider meetings, and other meetings as needed, with the ability to contribute feedback on monthly charges, receipts, and adjustments

    Supervision of the billing department personnel to ensure accounts are worked according to practice protocols; manage time and attendance

    Demonstrated ability to articulate in front of Physicians and Senior Leadership

    *Qualifications High school diploma required with demonstrated supervisory experience CPC or CCS certification preferred Strong computer skills in electronic medical records systems Previous patient contact work in a medical practice is required A strong professional competency for accuracy, as well as a self-directed work ethic Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and lead billing staff Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively and professionally under pressure Ability to maintain and establish strong working relationships with physicians and support staff within and across each department Skilled in MS Office: Word, Excel, and Outlook required Ability to coordinate multiple tasks in detail
