Job Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Biller to join our group psychology clinic. The ideal candidate must have medical billing experience and be passionate about making a positive impact in the mental health field.
Qualifications:
MUST HAVE
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience (associates degree, medical billing certificate)
Experience with medical billing and accounts receivable
Experience with EHR software
Strong interpersonal skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Organized self-starter who can work both independently and as part of a team
Ability to problem-solve and adapt to change
Ability to both prioritize and multi-task
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good time management skills
Proficiency with Google G-Suite and Microsoft Office 365
Responsibilities
· Primary responsibility is to support smooth operations within the office, which entails a diverse range of daily tasks, primarily focused on medical billing, as well as communicating with clients about insurance coverage and payments, prior authorizations, and supporting the full-time office manager with insurance related matters.
· Occasional coverage when Office Manager is out of office.
· Hours: Tues, Wed, Thur 8:00-3:00 in office (this is NOT a remote position. This is a PART TIME position and is not eligible for full time hours)
Pay and Benefits:
· $23-25/hour dependent on experience
