We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Billing Specialist to join our team at our Lakewood, NJ office. This is an entry-level position that provides a great opportunity to develop valuable skills in medical billing and finance. The ideal candidate will have some prior experience in billing, regardless of the industry, and be eager to learn and grow within a supportive and professional environment. As part of our finance team, you will play a crucial role in managing billing operations, ensuring accurate invoicing, and maintaining strong financial records.

Responsibilities

• Process and submit claims to insurance companies and other third-party payers.
• Ensure accurate and timely billing of ABA therapy services.
• Review and resolve any discrepancies or denied claims.
• Assist with posting payments and reconciling accounts.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of insurance policies and billing regulations.
• Communicate with insurance companies and clients to clarify billing issues.
• Collaborate with the finance and clinical teams to ensure seamless operations.
• Maintain organized and confidential financial records.

Qualifications

• Entry-level experience in billing (experience in any industry is acceptable).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with numbers.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to the medical billing field.

Compensation

• Salary: $40,000 - $60,000 (based on experience).
• Full-time, in-office position in Lakewood, NJ.
