Education and Experience:
High School Diploma required. College or college-equivalent education is preferred.
Previous experience in data entry and insurance verification is preferred.
Experience with addiction and mental health preferred.

General Duties:
Manage two email accounts daily, including both individual and group communications.
Facilitate daily communication through various messaging platforms for effective interaction.
Manage data entry across various platforms.
Efficiently gather billing information and generate comprehensive reports.
Submit claims using the internal EMR system with accurate CPT and ICD-10 codes.
Effectively utilize and cross-reference multiple spreadsheets simultaneously.
Verification of patient insurance benefits through both telephone inquiries and the use of an internal EMR system.
Working over multiple EMR platforms.
Generate patient charts using the internal EMR system.
Obtain medical records for billing purposes.
Intergrade medical records to the internal EMR system accordingly.
Collect payments such as copays, coinsurance, and private pay fees.
Obtain proper credit card authorization documents.
Request and obtain referrals and authorizations from insurance carriers.
Effectively communicate with patients, affiliated facilities, insurance companies, and other staff members to gather accurate information.
Liaison between PNS and associated facilities.
Occasionally schedule patient appointments and manage the group phone line as needed. Assist coworkers when needed, reach team goals, and meet deadlines.

Frequent typing and viewing of computer screens.
Frequent use with machines, such as computers, copiers, fax machines, scanners and
telephone.
Frequent hearing, listening, and speaking in person.
Occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, or bend.
Travel to local facilities as needed.
