Responsibilities: • Machine Operation: Operate and maintain bindery equipment, including folders, cutters, stitchers, perfect binders, and UV-coaters. • Finishing Work: Perform tasks such as cutting, folding, scoring, perforating, stitching, and binding of printed materials. • Quality Assurance: Inspect finished products to ensure they meet specifications and resolve any quality issues promptly. • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues to minimize downtime. • Workflow Management: Organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and maintain efficiency. • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all workplace safety standards and maintain a clean work environment. Qualifications: • Experience: Minimum of 3+ years experience operating bindery or finishing equipment in a print production environment with digital or offset equipment. • Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and ability to read and interpret job tickets. Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical equipment • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 30 lbs, stand for extended periods, and handle repetitive tasks. • Teamwork: Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
