Job Title: Bioinformatics Developer (Part-Time) Location: San Diego, CA (Hybrid)

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Bioinformatics Developer to join our pharmaceutical team. The candidate will develop and maintain TIBCO Spotfire dashboards that query data from internal databases and generate visualizations for the analysis of data related to pharmaceutical discovery. The role includes developing tools for dashboards, query interfaces, clustering, alignment, efficient sequence searching, and advanced data visualization.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with IT and pharmaceutical teams to design, develop, and implement advanced analytics solutions using TIBCO Spotfire.

Develop and maintain Spotfire dashboards, reports, and templates to meet business needs.

Ensure that all solutions are scalable, robust, and user-friendly.

Document all Spotfire solutions, including design specifications, user guides, and operational procedures.

Create reusable Spotfire templates for different projects and teams.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Spotfire applications and integrations.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.

Strong expertise in TIBCO Spotfire architecture, features, and capabilities, with over 2 years of extensive experience in developing dashboards and integrating Spotfire solutions.

Proficiency in data structures and programming languages for data aggregation, transformation, and visualization, including Python, SQL, JavaScript, HTML, and Spotfire.

Experience with data integration techniques (e.g., databases, APIs, ETL processes).

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
