Task:
· Manage the Extrusion Operator Team and ensure they can work on all equipment assigned per standard operational procedures and parameter settings.
· Report to the Vice President regarding the equipment, scheduling, production, training, and safety.
· Consistent improvement of the process, equipment, and employee safety.
· Troubleshoot Extruders blenders and train staff on best practices.
· Overseas in a hands-on fashion, all aspects of our compounding division.
· Safety, a clean work environment, and a strong desire to keep everything neat and organized.
· Training new employees to become Material Handlers, Extrusion Helpers, and Operators.
Experience: Must have plastic compounding experience making plastic pellets to be considered for the position.
· Solid track record running and managing a compounding department.
· Vast experience manufacturing Polypropylene and Polyethylene pellets.
· Process improvement regarding extruders, pelletizers, blenders, and overall safety.
