The Doubletree by Hilton Binghamton is hiring a Bistro Bar Supervisor. The Bar Supervisor manages and oversees bar operations, including staff training, scheduling, inventory, and ensuring customer satisfaction, while also maintaining a clean and organized bar environment. You will be an active bartender as needed in the operation. Responsibilities: • Train, supervise, and schedule bar staff, ensuring adequate coverage and proper service standards • Address employee performance issues and resolve conflicts • Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures • Manage bar inventory, including ordering, stocking, and storing beverages • Oversee the opening and closing of the bar, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe bar environment • Handle customer complaints and issues effectively • Promote drink specials and upselling to increase revenue • Monitor sales performance and identify areas for improvement • Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and expenses • Build relationships with clientele. • Maintain budget and monitor costs • Oversee planning for special events • Appropriately delegate tasks to staff • May be involved in hiring and interviewing staff Qualifications: • Prior bartending experience required • Extensive knowledge of a bar operation • Prior supervisory or lead experience Compensation: $13 - $14 per hour plus gratuities
