    Come join our award-winning team as a Bistro Lead at the beautiful Courtyard by Marriott in Orem. Position is full-time (32-40 hours/week). Must be available nights, Tue- Sat or Wed- Sun sometimes altering days depending on weekly needs, in addition some afternoons or Mornings on occasion to help F&B Manager with banquets and additional tasks.

    Essential Functions:

    Perform basic tasks required for Bistro server and cook

    Coordinate daily front and back of house Bistro operations

    Assistant to the Food and Beverage Manager

    Take orders from customers, handle transactions

    Prepare food, coffee and alcoholic Beverages (including cocktails)

    Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints as the MOD

    Deliver superior food and beverage service by helping employees uphold brand standards to maximize customer satisfaction

    Oversee the dining room: check-in with customers, follow up with all tables in the dining room

    Assist when there are special banquet events, coordinating menu + Cooking and service

    Minimum Qualifications

    High school diploma or equivalent

    Familiarity with restaurant software, (Micros or other POS)

    Excellent oral communication skills

    Strong leadership, motivational and people skills

    Must possess good organization/time management skills
