GENERAL FUNCTION:
The Commercial Credit Analyst II is responsible for the underwriting and analysis of commercial real estate, construction and commercial & industrial loans.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Capable of analyzing financial statements including calculating performance ratios and financial covenants.
- Make recommendations in accordance with sound banking practices in order to minimize risk exposure.
- Ensure commercial loan requests adhere to bank policies and procedures.
- Communicate with the lending team in order to resolve issues and provide comprehensive review of their loan requests.
- Participate in on-site client meetings with the Commercial Lender or Team Leader.
- Review of appraisals to ensure adherence to applicable federal regulations and soundness of analysis and conclusions.
- Complete independent research and analyze market conditions to assess collateral values.
- Track monitoring requirements for various loans within the Bank’s portfolio.
- Review and monitor working capital draws.
- Completion of special projects as required by senior management and other additional responsibilities as requested.
- Ability to work independently with moderate oversight from the department manager.
- Possesses the ability to recognize and identify credit risk along with the confidence to discuss and provide solutions to the department manager and/or Lender.

Required Experience
- Completed Bachelor’s degree in Business, preferably Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of 2-years previous Commercial Credit Analyst experience within a financial institution
