INTERNET SITE TECHNICIAN

The INTERNET FIELD TECHNICIAN is responsible for the fulfillment of internet site installations, site inspections, maintenance of Fiber optic and Wireless Internet Service equipment and residential and business installations. This is a full-time position with 40-55 hours per week.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Installing equipment to sites
• Trouble shooting network and site equipment
• Configure and replace wireless equipment in the field.
• Perform all aspects of wireless installation for residential and business customers, including terminating CAT5/6/7 cable, setting up small networks and mounting hardware.
• Travel to job sites in surrounding regions.
• Some on-call & overtime required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, bilingual is a plus.
• Ability to operate a company vehicle
• Consent to a post-offer pre-employment background check, driving record review, arduous physical, and drug/alcohol screening.
• A valid driver's license with no more than 1 point on your record and no DUI's.
