    We are seeking a Merchandising Specialist for our office located in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. This position ensures that all products selected by the Buyer/Sr. Buyer for inclusion in the product database are input into portal accurately and on a timely basis. The position also serves as primary contact for vendor set-up and onboarding. 

     

    WHAT YOU'LL DO: 

     

    • Ensure that vendor enters all product choices into portal on a timely basis.
    • Research and vendor follow-up on missing products or incomplete information.
    • Responsible for managing bulk upload of vendor product spreadsheet, accurately and completely.
    • Initial vendor set-up and onboarding, including coordination with Merchandising Operations, Legal, and Accounts Payable. Maintain appropriate vendor files and contact lists.
    • Handle all vendor communication that does not specifically need to be addressed by the buyer including price changes, inaccurate product information, etc. Process all changes to maintain accuracy of database.
    • Maintain accuracy of buyer assortment spreadsheets as the pre-portal source of information.
    • Primary contact for Customer Service in early warning resolution related to product and content issues.
    • Work with media and operations support to resolve.
    • Responsible for initial sample, image, video, and swatch requests. Includes vendor follow up, receiving, tagging, and routing.

     

     WHAT YOU'LL NEED: 

     

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
    • 1-3 years relevant work experience
    • Effective communication skills
    • Proven knowledge and skill in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
