    Job description

    In Motion ABA provides 1:1 behavior therapy, social skills groups, parent trainings, and behavioral assessments for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and related disabilities.

    Available: Full Time or Part Time

    We believe that every child has unlimited potential, and our mission is to assist parents, educators, and therapists in helping children reach their full potential. We place a high priority on listening to and considering the needs of each family as a whole, taking into account family structure, different parenting philosophies, and family culture, when assessing and treating each child.

    We are looking for BCBAs who have a passion for working with children with Autism Spectrum Disordersin the Brevard area.

    Responsibilities:

    Conduct diagnostic evaluations to assess individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly autism.

    Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for children and young adults based on ABA principles that increase communication, self-help, social, and play skills in a variety of settings (school, home, and after-school programs).

    Collaborate with other professionals, such as special education teachers and medical personnel, to ensure coordinated care.

    Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation of treatment progress.

    Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans and make adjustments as needed.

    Provide guidance and support to families of individuals with developmental disabilities.

    Stay current with research and best practices in the field of behavioral health.

    Requirements:

    Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

    Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in psychology, education, special education, or a related field.

    Experience working in a home or school setting with children and individuals with special needs.

    Strong knowledge of diagnostic evaluation procedures and techniques; familiarity with medical terminology related to developmental disabilities.

    Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

    Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting.

    Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Note: This position may require inhalation or exposure to certain substances during behavioral therapy sessions.

    Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

    Pay: $65,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
